Belinda Vermeulen
Centurion – Sud Africa
Before becoming a wildlife photographer by profession, she was the chairperson of the national fire safety body in South Africa. Specialising in bird photography with a focus on vultures, she works with the ‘Vulture Conservation Foundation (VCF)’ to collect photographic material documenting vultures in their natural habitat. Most of her shots are collected in the ‘Kruger National Park’ and at ‘Gaint Castle’ in KwaZulu-Natal.
The Project
Through the lens.
Belinda’s journey begins in the wild landscapes of South Africa, where she discovers her love for photography and the natural world. In these places she finds peace and a strong spiritual connection to the splendour of nature by connecting deeply with the environment and the animals that inhabit it. His work not only shows the beauty of nature, but also wants to raise awareness of the need to support and preserve these precious ecosystems. His photographs are a testament to his passion and deep love for the world around us, showing the beauty, majesty and fragility of our planet, urging everyone to cherish and protect it for generations to come.
